Holisy

Design

The Final product embodies me as a solo designer with my trusty laptop companion with the brand name in a clean & sharp style presented in a simple black colour.

I had a great time designing the brand for myself as I had to treat myself like a business. and I made some ideas, it was truly an up & down process as I tried to capture the essence of myself and my values.

The origin of the name "Holisy Design" is deeply personal and has an interesting backstory involving my nickname "isy," which is an acronym for "I see you" and represents a pro-client methodology. It's about evoking a sense of caring so that you can see that I, as a creative professional, understands & value your needs.

Of course, the concept of merging the moniker "isy" with my last name "Hol" is intriguing overall, but it's quite distinctive. This brand design highlights not only my client-focused and individualised approach, but also my (holis)tic approach to design.

Since I also work with clients that speak English, it goes without saying that I also paid attention to the pronunciation:

Pronouncing the word "Holisy" similarly in Slovak and English can work to the brand's advantage,

particularly if it is meant for a global audience or is spoken in a region where English is the primary language. Pronunciation may be global and simple enough for these languages' speakers to comprehend. Pronouncing a name clearly can help consumers remember it and find a website or service more easily, which is crucial for branding and marketing purposes.

In any event, it's a good idea to listen to several dialects of the word. All in all, though, it is unquestionably beneficial for my brand's adaptability and global use.
